Base Components β Magnets
Magnets are optional for all models, but they add serious functionality. They enable vertical stacking with a secure and satisfying βsnapβ and increase stability. We recommend trying them out!
Printing With Magnets
Normally, printing with embedded magnets requires a stainless steel nozzle to avoid magnets pulling up and damaging the print head. Butβ¦
β Coinfinity stackers DONβT require a stainless nozzle!
The ceramic magnets are strong enough to stick to your metal build plate and stay put during printing β even with a hardened steel nozzle!
See the Magnets Guide for full details on magnet installation and safety.
