Printing Recommendations
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
- Infill: 20% (30% for added strength)
- Supports: Required for the Base connector, but 2 cylinder and one cube support blocker should be added to block support in each magnet well and the badge slot. Use a PLA/PETG Interface layer, opposite whatever you are using for the primary filament. If you print with PLA, use PETG for interface layer and vice versa.
For more information on printing instructions, see Bin Printing Instructions.
Assembly
- Print the base and lid separately
- Insert magnets into the base and lid while printing (see 3d printing instructions for more details)
- Ensure the lid fits snugly on the base
- For NFC functionality, insert the NFC Badge in the designated slot
Maintenance
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth
- Avoid harsh chemicals
- Store in a cool, dry place
WARNINGS
If you plan to store Credit Cards, please be aware that the magnets may cause damage to the cards!
If you want a bin for Cards, or you just don’t need the magnets, just enable support and don’t add the Support Blocker Cylinders for the Magnet wells. The slicer will just fill the holes with support material.
We recommend using a different bin for storing Credit Cards. One without magnets inserted and not placed on a Coinfinity Magnetic Base.
Keep your credit cards away from magnets!
